By associating elements of the drawing with one another as a named group, such as everything drawn on a boom or ladder, the whole group can be selected by clicking any one element, and dragged to a new position in the drawing. Block insertions can have attributes attached to them, allowing each lamp symbol in a drawing to include additional data about itself, such as lantern type, colour and purpose etc. This information can then be exported to a spreadsheet or purpose built piece of software, such as lightwrite 3, to create instant paperwork for a show. Later tasks such as colour calls, can then be automated. No smudges or rubbings out. And no unclear handwriting. ![]() ![]()
